NOTE TO DEMOCRATS: PLEASE GOVERN WITH HUMBLE RESPONSIBILITY
Not a day has gone by since Congress went wholly Democrat, and already Bush supporters are feeling the sting of loss.
But instead of accepting their party's defeat and moving on, they've apparently dug themselves in and started attacking the Democrats as being 'weak-kneed pacifists who has finished America by leaving her open to terrorist attacks'. (According to one upset Republican supporter I ran across on the 'net.)
Not surprising, Nancy Pelosi is also under attack for her position as the new Speaker of the House; claiming that her '100 Hour Plan' is too much liberal in retrospect and all it does is favor socialist programs and welfare.
I find this behavior to be a little extreme and maybe that's all it is: Extreme right-wing behavior from those who were too drunk from power, greed, and corruption to see straight.
But their obtuse behavior also gives us a critical piece of sage advice, as not what to do now that we (the people--not just Democrats) are in control of Congress:
Just because we now have the power to make laws and change things for the better, does not mean we should emulate what the Republicans have done for the last 12 years--once everything is said and done.
So govern responsibly; ye old Democrats--lest you wish to be put to pasture like yonder GOP.
